About The Roundtable
- The MD CIO Roundtable was founded in June 2005 to provide a forum for IT leaders of mid-sized companies and organizations to discuss issues of strategic importance to their companies, within a context of technology integration.
- Roundtable membership is open to IT Leaders (IT Directors, CIOs, VPs of Technology, etc) of mid-sized corporations. If you have questions regarding eligibility, please contact us at info@mdcioroundtable.com.
- The Maryland CIO Roundtable is an educational and knowledge sharing forum. So that our members can share information openly and safely, our forum is open ONLY to leaders of IT departments (No vendors or resellers, please)
- We are NOT a tech forum. While related to technology, our Roundtable discussions engage our CIO and IT Director members in thought-provoking topics such as:
- How to Build and Present an Effective Business Case
- What is IT Leadership’s Responsibility to maintain electronic documentation in the event of legal proceedings against your company.
- How can IT Leadership Maximize Web Search Engine Optimization opportunities?
- What opportunities and challenges do tele-working technologies present for companies and IT departments?
- In addition, our roundtable gives members the opportunity to seek feedback, advice and ideas from fellow IT leaders on topics of current importance to their IT departments. During the roundtable discussion, we record the feedback portion of our discussion so the member can play it back later to catch every critical detail!
- Our members belong to a wide-range of non-competing area companies. Our members sign non-disclosure agreements to ensure that critical topics discussed at the roundtable, STAY at the roundtable.
- Please contact the MD CIO Roundtable for fee information and other roundtable information.
When does the Roundtable meet?
- The Roundtable currently meets on the last Wednesday of each month (unless otherwise indicated).
- Our meetings are generally from 8:15 until 11:30am. Continental breakfast is served.
- Our members take turns hosting one meeting per year at their company office spaces (or nearby meeting location). This gives our members a chance to learn more about their colleagues’ businesses.
